Heres a report from Sami D on the events of the day...

"Well, setting off for the Essex convoy on Saturday was a doomed start...M25 closed, M11 tail backs for 5 miles...s*d that...Scott and myself cut across county with Dave in tow on the phone to pick up the route nearly 2 hours later than planned!

We eventually pulled up to the hotel the same time as Chris.
Got our 9 rooms checked in and unpacked as the others started to arrive.

Across the parking lot to the Diner...damn tasty food...bless Marty he struggled with his big bird dinner!

Sez and Matt rocked up for a tasty dinner for 2 and then in came the Welsh...Tom a little cranky after the long drive!

Over the road to the largest pub you have ever seen!!!
A few beers later and its bed time!

Bl**dy clocks going forward made it hard getting up at 6.30!

Out to the car park to meet the fellow members...Charlie bless him and his cracked wide arch pulls up just before 8.

Anyway - off we go...Sall Sat Nav thinks Santa Pod is down a deadend cul-de-sac...bet the Sunday morning risers didnt know what had hit them with 12 motors steaming up the quite village roads!!!

Eventually into the Pod...the Stewards had no clue...we were directed to CAMPING...where the lovely ermmmm wet, very wet grass - i mean mud stole a prisioner...the Yellow Devil...ut oh - stuck like a trooper! Along came Chris and some random dude to push us out...in the process of ripping off the drivers side of the front bumper! Small price to pay with regards to the Megane Rally Slag look of my car!

After 1 hour 15mins of driving around the Pod Dave told the Stewards to p*ss off and lead us to safey...our pen...which was basically the car park! Hard standing my a*se!

Oh well!

An eventfull and pleasant weekend.
